8 People, Including 3 Children, Injured in I-15 Crash Near Primm

Eight people - including three children - were injured in a crash on Interstate 15 near Primm in southern Nevada. Emergency responders from multiple agencies responded to the remote location, where the crash had blocked travel lanes.

The three children sustained injuries and were among those transported to area medical facilities. No fatalities were reported, but some injuries were described as serious. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Nevada Highway Patrol.

I-15 near Primm is a long, monotonous stretch of desert freeway where driver fatigue and inattention are common crash factors. The distance from major medical centers also means injuries that might be treatable elsewhere can become life-threatening.
