Car Crash at Sahara Ave. and S. Maryland Pkwy. in Las Vegas, NV Leaves Three Injured and Hospitalized
Three people were transported to area hospitals following a car crash at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and South Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas. LVMPD officers closed lanes at the busy intersection while investigators worked the scene.
The severity of injuries to the three hospitalized victims ranges from moderate to serious. The crash appears to have involved at least two vehicles, with the sequence of events under investigation.
The Sahara-Maryland Pkwy intersection is a high-traffic area near the university district and midtown Las Vegas, serving both residential and commercial traffic. Crashes at this location are not uncommon given the intersection's heavy use.
"Injuries at these midtown Las Vegas intersections often happen quickly - a split-second decision by one driver can change three lives," said Timothy O'Reilly of Litigators for Justice. "Victims deserve full compensation for their medical treatment, their pain, and the disruption to their lives."
