Car Wreck Near Rainbow and Gowan Leaves 2 with Life-Threatening Injuries in a 4-Vehicle Collision

A four-vehicle collision near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Gowan Road in northwest Las Vegas left two individuals with life-threatening injuries on Friday evening. Emergency services responded in force, with multiple fire units and ambulances on scene.

Two victims were airlifted to University Medical Center with critical injuries. Two others were transported by ground ambulance with moderate injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released.

The intersection of Rainbow and Gowan is a busy commercial corridor and has been the site of multiple significant crashes in recent years. Investigators are looking into the sequence of events and which party bears primary fault.
