Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision on Rampart Boulevard in Summerlin Results in 1 Fatality
A deadly crash occurred on Rampart Boulevard in Las Vegas's Summerlin neighborhood around 7:23 p.m. on Thursday. A northbound 1991 Toyota Camry collided with a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado exiting a parking lot near Bruce Trent Park, south of Tournament Hills Drive.
The 79-year-old Toyota driver sustained severe injuries and was transported to University Medical Center, where they later died. The Silverado driver and three teenage passengers received precautionary medical treatment. Police found no evidence of impairment by the Silverado operator.
This incident marked the seventh traffic fatality in the LVMPD jurisdiction that year, highlighting the ongoing dangers Nevada motorists face on busy corridors like Rampart Boulevard.
Attorney Tim O'Reilly of Litigators for Justice emphasized the importance of legal representation following accidents involving fatalities. "When a family loses a loved one or suffers a serious injury in a car accident, it can be a confusing and stressful time," he stated. Accident victims and families may pursue compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and funeral costs.
