Lawsuit Filed Against City and Others by Parents of Boy Fatally Struck in North Las Vegas Crosswalk

The parents of a young boy fatally struck in a North Las Vegas crosswalk have filed a civil lawsuit against the City of North Las Vegas and other defendants, alleging that dangerous crosswalk conditions contributed to their son's death.

The lawsuit claims that the crosswalk where the child was struck lacked adequate lighting, signage, and traffic control measures - and that city officials had been made aware of safety deficiencies at the location prior to the tragedy.
