US-95 Vehicle Crash Results in Man's Death
A fatal crash on US Highway 95 in the Las Vegas area claimed the life of one man. Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the scene, which shut down lanes of the busy freeway for several hours.
The victim's identity has not been released. NHP is investigating potential contributing factors including speed, lane discipline, and whether any other vehicles were involved before the crash. The investigation could take several weeks.
US-95 is one of Nevada's busiest and most dangerous freeway corridors. Crashes on this highway often result in catastrophic injuries due to the high speeds at which vehicles travel.
"Freeway fatalities involve unique legal considerations, particularly when commercial vehicles, government-maintained road conditions, or other motorists may share liability," noted attorney Timothy O'Reilly of Litigators for Justice. "We investigate every US-95 crash independently to identify all responsible parties."
